P.V.C Floor System Weblok PVC is extruded using unplasticised PVC powder blend (uPVC) designed specifically for external flooring use with added pigments and stabilisers to enhance its appearance and performance. PROPERTIES Weatherproof and Water Resistant. Weblok PVC has excellent resistance to water and moisture vapour, and will not be dramatically affected by long exposure to sunshine. It will retain its original properties for up to 15 years, and has excellent weatherability. It remains operable between a temperature range of -15degrees C to +60 degrees C. It has a Vicat softening point of 80 degrees C. Artificial weathering has been carried out up too 2500 hours (in accordance with ISO 105) and has given colour fast figures of 4.5 on the grey wool scale (very similar to that of uPVC windows). We expect the flooring to be serviceable for up to 10 years without any noticeable colour changes. Fire Retardancy. Weblok PVC is inherently non-burning and very difficult to ignite. The raw material has been formulated to meet current British and World standards with reference to flame spread, ignition conditions and smoke emission. When exposed to flame, uPVC carbonises without burning or producing droplets, and achieves Class 1 surface spread of flame to BS476 part 7. Test Results
Weblok PVC has excellent impact resistance and flexural modulus. It is naturally non-slip (when dry) and can be drilled and screwed. It can be supplied with a non-slip textured surface for use outdoors or in wet areas (workshops, kitchens, hospitals etc). It has good chemical resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, weight to strength ratio and low shrinkage/reversion values (allowing large areas to be covered without gaps appearing). Strength. Weblok PVC has been extensively tested under laboratory conditions as well as in day to day use on site. The test results are available on request, but to précis the report, a 12 tonne load was applied by platen over the area between the battens. On removal, there was no damage and the surface was displaced only 0.75mm from original. The load was increased in increments until the panel began to collapse, which did not happen until the load reached 116 tonnes - giving a compression strength value of 33,286 lbs per sq ft. A point load test was then carried out on a similar area between batten supports using a 30mm (1.17ins) wide steel wheel. In this test, displacement was minor, (only noticeable by touch) and the floor withstood loads in increments up to 1.6tonnes, when it punched through the surface of the plank. Weblok PVC has been used successfully as vehicle access roadway, used by trucks, vans, cars and forklift trucks. SPECIFICATIONS Weblok PVC Floor Panels
